Historic building with beautiful theater room. Currently (2019-2020), pending restoration works, the space is not used as a theater but for temporary exhibitions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno spazio sottratto al teatro, peccato sia chiuso e inutilizzato. Interessanti le iniziative che ha intrapreso il Teatro di Roma per rendere "visibile" il Valle è far conoscere la sua importante storia...anche se si svolgono in una sala adiacente. Lo staff è cordiale

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo è uno dei più importanti e famosi teatri di Roma, inaugurato 300 anni fa. La prima assoluta delle opere di Donizetti e anche "Sei personaggi in cerca d'autore " di Pirandello avvengono qui. L'occupazione del Teatro Valle avviene nel 2011, quando il Teatro per una dismisione dell'Ente Teatrale Italiano è chiuso. Speriamo che il Teatro - che è passato di proprietà del Comune- lo gestisca bene per i progetti di restauro!
This is one of the most important and famous theaters in Rome, opened 300 years ago. The world premiere of the works of Donizetti and also "Six characters in search of an author" by Pirandello take place here. The occupation of the Valle Theater takes place in 2011, when the Theater, due to a dismissal of the Italian Theater Authority, is closed. We hope that the Theater - which passed ownership of the Municipality - manages it well for restoration projects!
