Agree this is a great experience. Very well thought through. A fun way of learning the basics of the story. Only concentrates on the key elements but still manages to bring the story to life. Well done the actors and producers.

What an amazing experience! We went to interactive play Romeo and Juliet. We had a good laugh and you will experience an entire package of emotions. Action takes place in different places around Juliet house and you will follow the actors. Prepare for the grand finale (it's emotional) Bonus points for free Ice-cream and glass of wine

Amazing theatre. It's cozy and relaxing. You can come here, get a ticket the same evening, for the major shows better buy the ticket in advance, inside the light is magical and outside sounds are absent. Is located in the centre of Verona and all around you can find lots of CafΓ©s/Bar/Restaurant/Posh wine bar. There's the restroom and you can leave your jacket/baggage/bag at the reception for a couple of euros. Nice place to go if you like art/theatre/music/performances.

I watched the walking performance of Romeo and Juliet. It was an interactive experience, where you dance and sing. I really enjoyed myself. They were very welcoming and we had some drinks and snacks before the show and at the end they gave us an icecream. The actors were superb and the organization impeccable. I highly recommend it to all Shakespeare lovers.

Two households, both alike in dignity. In fair Verona, where we lay our scene... Whilst we have seen the Bard's most famous play in Stratford, home of the RSC, there is something even more special when seeing it played live on the streets of Verona. The cast of Teatro Nuovo Verona staged a wonderful interactive performance. Starting at the casa de Giulietta we followed the story through to the rooftops of Verona, the church of their fated marriage, the Piazza and Torre where tragedy struck and onto the backstage of the theatre itself for the haunting and forgone conclusion. Rather than follow the entire story, this play focused on the key plot points and filled the time between with audience participation and tour. We all danced (barely), sung (badly) and cheered (deservedly), whilst a few select audience members played their hand at imaginary swordplay (particular kudos to the lady who's death scene had everyone in tears of laughter). Finally, the performers themselves... The two narrators were the driving force of the play, offering English and Italian dialogue seamlessly from one to the other. They helped guide and entertain us throughout, whilst occasionally joining in guest roles when needed. The Romeo and Giulietta we're captivating, humourous at the start and tragic at the end. Highly recommended and thank you to the cast and team at Teatro Nuovo for a magical evening!
