★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the highlight of our trip! The forecast was rainy and we were easily able to change our reservation date to a better day the same week. Luca arrived exactly on time and played beautiful Italian music for us to enjoy while we toured the lake.
There was water and blankets for us onboard, and it would have been great to have some light snacks provided but we brought our own. Would have also been nice to offer to take some group photos of us at some of the most scenic spots along the route.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tour was great. The boat was very nice and comfortable. The tour guide at the Villa was wonderful. She spoke great English and gave a very well informed tour that made the experience more enjoyable and interesting.
Luca.The boat driver however, was hard to understand. He seemed burned out at the end of the season and frankly not that interested in anything he was saying. He spoke very rapidly and with such a thick accent it was almost impossible to understand him. He seemed to be reading from a script. He was friendly and pleasant and overall we very much enjoyed the day.

Have used Taxi Boat Varenna on both trips to Lake Como and more impressed every time. Ran into Luca in Varenna and he kindly helped us make lunch reservations and drove us to the dock! Amazing service!

We were a group of 10 on a bachelorette party, and used the service both as a taxi service to reach and leave our villa from Varenna, as well as for a private 4-hour tour of the lake. The crew was super friendly and helpful (both for the booking and during ours stay there), the boats were a dream and the service was impeccable. We highly recommend them for your trip to Como, and only wish we could go back and board one of their boats to cruise the lake again. They truly made our stay much more than we could wish for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With a recommendation to visit Villa Babbianello, I booked a tour with Taxi Boat Varenna on a lark. And not only was the villa a delight, so was the taxi tour. I received multiple helpful emails prior to the trip, including a much-appreciated photo of the exact meeting spot. The wooden boat was lovely and comfortable, even as we set out under stormy conditions, making the sunny trip back absolutely magnificent. Boat captain Luca was knowledgeable and funny, and took pains to pause and explain key points of interest & outstanding photo ops on the lake along the route. I highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once in a life opportunity! I can not thank Taxi Boat Varenna enough for their professional service. I took my 93 year old grandmother on this trip and we were blown away. We had Luca as our captain (A professional, well informed captain that provided a truly wonderful experience as we guided through our tour. He was prompt and everything was first class. 100% would recommend this company to anyone and can not wait to be back again. Thanks so much for everything! We will not forget this experience!
