I am really sorry, but I wish we never sit down to this place. I can't said it was OK. It was not. After sit, they take the drink order in 20 minutes. In 40 min we got the drink, and could order the food. What we got in 1 hour 20 minutes. We were lucky in front of the street was a 0 24 shop, we cold bought some drinks till. Lazy stuff. Really lazy, they just don't care about guests they accept. The food. My gosh. I will add pictures. My friend ordered veal. It was like 100g meat. With some cheese. Terrible. My lamb was small for 16 euros. They forget the potatoes, and pasta is like vomit. No taste,. Watery, uncooked , lots of pepper and some parmesan. The house wine which makes your head hurt all day. For real. Skip this place. If u don't want to have an awful experience. Sorry to say that. This is 0 star... s

Very good traditional and local food. It’s pretty hard to make a reservation (they’ll never answer or worst, hang up!). Price are well balanced between quality and cost

Still dreaming about the pasta I had here after couple of weeks. Best restaurant to try local food and away from crowded touristic places. Staff is very friendly and help with suggestions. Pasta from the special menu, Fettuccine Ragu bianco d’agnello was the best. Also, traditional carbonara can never go wrong here!!

Have only been in Rome for a few days but have gone back to this place after trying out a few touristy but not so good places The menu is very short - they specialize in a few dishes and the place is packed with locals On Saturday which I went, the place was already packed by 7:30, with no indoor seating until 9:30 The Ox tail is to die for - soft and tender flesh complemented by its delicate tendons and cartilages, cooked in a savoury tomato sauce. Will highly recommend given the price level (which is not much!)

This place was fully booked when we arrived, but the friendly waiters managed to squeeze a table for 2 for us. We ordered a bottle of Rosato, and spaghetti carbonara and amatriciana. I was extremely happy with my choice of Carbonara, however the amatriciana was nothing special and my friend found a piece of wire of the metal sponge inside of it. We brought it to the waitress's attention and she happily replaced her plate with a carbonara and didn't charge us for it. I believe this was an unfortunate mistake, but still left them a tip for their kindness. Food is well priced and location is great.

The website says that they open at 7 PM, we came ten minutes early and they were just setting up. I highly recommend making a reservation days in advance. The appetizer was absolutely delicious, very savory and I highly recommend it. Something that I don’t come by often. The pastas were delicious and when paired with a liter of wine, perfection. The service is not the best but the food is worth it. They do deserve your patience and best way to enjoy this is with calm and composure. Enjoy it.

Discovered this place while trying to avoid touristic restaurants and it was for sure the most pleasant surprise! This restaurant is made by locals and for locals. We had to wait for around 30min for a free table but it was more than worth the wait! The environment is really cosy and makes you feel welcome. The pasta was probably the best we have ever had and we just wish this was closer to Portugal so we could eat here a lot! Don't forget to save space for dessert cuse they are really worth the try!!! I would say this restaurant is a must on your visit to Rome

Foe every restaurant worth its salt you need a reservation. Although we stayed like two buildings apart we got a booking in 2-3 attempts. The owner told me today that there is no reservation. I told him its my last night and my third attempt! He agreed ! Its really nice. I saw locals sitting for hours talking and sipping wine. The restaurant just like others which have Italian mannerism doesn’t bring you the bill. There were about 15-20 people outside waiting and making rounds to get in. This is a good place. A decent warm environment. Heavily booked and the food Is awesome.
