★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chi sia stato Luciano Massimo Consoli, che cosa abbia rappresentato per la società italiana e, ancor più, quale sia stato il suo attivo impegno nel movimento per la liberazione omossessuale in Italia sono fatti ben descritti con poche, ma efficaci, parole nel testo di questa targa commemorativa visibile in Rione Testaccio, in Via Galvani all’altezza del civico 31/c. La targa è stata affissa sulla sua casa natale nel 2010 a soli tre anni dalla sua scomparsa avvenuta per una malattia incurabile.
L'archivio di cui si parla nel testo della targa raccoglie informazioni di storia internazionale e pubblicistica gay. Dal 2001 il materiale raccolto da Consoli è depositato presso le sedi dell'Archivio di Stato.
 Who was Luciano Massimo Consoli, what he represented for Italian society and, even more, what his active commitment was in the movement for homosexual liberation in Italy are facts well described with a few, but effective, words in the text of this commemorative plaque visible in Rione Testaccio, in Via Galvani at number 31 / c. The plaque was posted on his birthplace in 2010 just three years after his death due to an incurable disease.
The archive referred to in the text of the plaque collects information on international history and gay publications. Since 2001, the material collected by Consoli has been deposited at the offices of the State Archives.
