★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very sorry to say but despite the ratings, this restaurant did not by far live up to my expectations. It started off just fine, because we were the first table to arrive and many staff could serve us. Ordered starters and main. We had bruschetta and calamares, nothing extraordinary but still A-ok and decent pricing. Maincourse was a huge disappointment as the Gnocchis where heavily overcooked. Felt like I was chewing gum. The flavors were there but it just wasn't good enough and really the first time I ate something overcooked in Italy. My company had a risotto which was much better, nothing spectacular but still fine. Disaster started after they cleared our plates. 45 minutes after they cleared our table from maincourse, it felt like we vanished from their radar. Nobody from staff asked if we wanted dessert, coffee, the check or something else. It was like they just stopped serving our table. We were keen on dessert but after waiting so long without being served we just decided to get the check and leave. Honestly, I was very disappointed as this restaurant has good ratings. The menu was professionally made and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, location and vibe but the service was just non-existing after main-course was cleared. Supersad as I could have forgiven them for the overcooked gnocchis (already pretty bad given that it's Italy) but when they service just stopped... Probably we were just very unlucky. I think they felt uncomfortable because we didn't speak Italian so maybe that's why they avoided serving us, however there was still one waitress who spoke English so not really an excuse..
I expected more..

Very friendly, responsive waiters, who also consider special client's wishes. Some of the staff speak English. For the quality of food and service the prices are really fair. As a tourist I visited some of the restaurants in this town: this is the best!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sunday night, busy, we didn’t have reservations but sure they made a table for my kids, my wife and I. The dinner was very well, service friendly and fast and it’s a great place to sit outside or inside. Also enjoyed watching the pizza baking in the open kitchen. So yes, would recommend, and will possibly come back later.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy neighborhood restaurant with a very nice outside terrace. Don't skip the starters and get at least a mixed bruschetta plate. Tartar Tonno Rosso is a must for lovers of raw delicacies. Regarding primi and secondi you have a lot to choose from. Pizzas are great and the fresh gnocchi plate with house made pesto is my recommendation. The deserts are on another level and no matter what you choose you can't miss. Broken cannolo, pistacchio ice cream tortino, TiramiSuper and CusCus di Bronte we had were just marvelous. Easy five star and thumbs up for the great staff that works there.
