Ich kann nur sagen daß diese Frau magische Hände hat was das kochen betrifft. Man kann aber dort auch buchen um ein Fest zu feiern. Ein großer Garten oder ein Park wo auch Feste gefeiert werden können. A really great location. Marta only cooks from certain days, or on order. Dico casa perché è così che la proprietaria e chef Marta Messeri ti fa sentire. Il clima disteso e per niente incravattato di una bella domenica di sole passata in allegria tra buon cibo, buon vino e buona musica. Bel menu domenicale, semplice ma sapientemente cucinato e presentato. Si nota subito che dietro c’è il lavoro di una persona competente e in grado di fare molto di più in un contesto più formale. La freschezza dei prodotti è indiscutibile, come anche il giusto rapporto quantità/qualità del cibo unito ad un prezzo del menu assolutamente commisurato. Ho avuto modo di passare diverse cene e pranzi al Melangolo, portando sempre qualche persona nuova a conoscere questa bella realtà, e devo dire che ci torno sempre con piacere. Alla prossima! Non te lo aspetteresti mai arrivando sul lungo mare tristemente degradato di Santa Flavia. La cuoca e proprietaria è estremamente simpatica e cortese. Il cibo è preparato con amore ( il sorbetto con i limoni del giardino non ha eguali !) Piccola pecca: quantità non generose. Tornerò di certo ! The place is magnificent, truly magnificent: a step away from the sea and under lemon and olive trees, a garden of an elegant old villa, all well cared for. You would never expect it when you arrive on the sea in Santa Flavia. The cook and owner is extremely nice and courteous. The food is prepared with love (the sorbet with lemons from the garden has no equal!) Minor flaw: not generous quantities. I will certainly come back!
