La grande passione e i sorrisi dello staff fanno di questo locale uno dei miei preferiti in città. Piatti semplici ma gustosi, con prodotti genuini accompagnati da ottimi vini di piccole aziende agricole, rigorosamente del sud. Last but not least, musica e chiacchiere di qualità sempre assicurate. Provare per credere! (Il) SUD is not a place but a beautiful idea. That Pooyan knows how to transform into an experience of the heart, as well as of the palate. The great passion and smiles of the staff make this place one of my favorites in the city. Simple but tasty dishes, with genuine products accompanied by excellent wines from small farms, strictly from the south. Last but not least, quality music and chat is always guaranteed. Seeing is believing!

Un mix di sapori ben studiato, per non parlare della cordialità del personale, ti senti davvero al Sud! Highly recommended, many fresh and quality products, aperitifs and fantastic cutting boards. A well thought out mix of flavors, not to mention the friendliness of the staff, you really feel in the South!

L’abbiamo notato durante una passeggiata in centro, situato in uno dei vicoli di Piazza Duomo a L’Aquila e ci ha incuriosito il menù particolare dei panini con prodotti del sud. Per questo abbiamo ordinato due panini per iniziare “il Calogero” con le melanzane e la ‘nduja è un altro panino con la salsiccia aromatica: buonissimi! Il tutto compagnato da due calici di vino rosso Negroamaro. Poi abbiamo ordinato anche un tagliere del giorno con salumi, formaggi e vari assaggi di verdure sott’olio che comprendeva anche del vino Montepulciano. Tutto molto buono. Rapporto Qualitá/prezzo buono. Ci torneremo per provare altri ottimi panini. I went to this place with my partner to have an aperitif after a day of work and I must say that we were very satisfied. We noticed it during a walk in the center, located in one of the alleys of Piazza Duomo in L’Aquila and we were intrigued by the particular menu of sandwiches with southern products. For this reason we ordered two sandwiches to start the "Calogero" with aubergines and the 'nduja is another aromatic sausage sandwich: delicious! All accompanied by two glasses of Negroamaro red wine. Then we also ordered a cutting board of the day with meats, cheeses and various tastes of vegetables in oil which also included Montepulciano wine. All very good. Good quality / price ratio. We will be back to try other great sandwiches.

L'accoglienza e il calore che ricevi appena entri ti spinge a ritornare nuovamente. A somewhat atypical place in the Abruzzo capital but no less than the others. The restaurant offers typical dishes and wines of Puglia. The welcome and the warmth you receive as soon as you enter pushes you to come back again.
