★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a perfect example for words- sometimes better not to believe to your first impressions. The owner wasn't that friendly,didn't tell hello and gave a table just beside a door(upstairs it was a lot of tables but probably because we didn't make reservation he gave us that table). After that we didn't expect much,so we were impressed with amazing food and perfect fast service for a not a big amount of money. Totally recommend if you want to eat in a local restaurant.

My meal consisted of the fried artichoke, risotto with porcini, Rome style lamb, and the house red wine.
Everything was great! Will visit again!

He is so attentive and caring. He even helped us book the rest of our Italy trip. He brought us extra treats and wanted us to have the best experience. And the food is even better than Danielle’s hospitality. If you’re in Rome, please come here and enjoy it all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 star food, 5 star service! The owner made me feel very welcome and offered great advice on what to order (including adding a small appetizer “on the house”). He explained the 87 year history of the family run restaurant and how each dish is meticulously prepared. By far the best overall dining experience I had during my stay in Rome, I will definitely be coming back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Daniel welcomed us into his family restaurant with open arms and treated us as one of his own! It was an incredible experience with some of the most incredible food we’ve had on our First day in Rome! The atmosphere was very intimate and sincere, the food was absolutely terrific. Everything Daniel suggested was quite perfect and me and my family really enjoyed our time!
