This was the first place we ate at during our trip in December after realizing that Romans eat their meals later - not a problem, just a bit of a culture shock for us! The main dining area was in the basement, which was a neat dining experience and felt very authentic. We each enjoyed our respective meals - lamb, rigatoni carbonara, and salads. The Italian Coca-Cola was good, as well as the red wine, which was sweeter than most other red wines that we'd had. The service was great as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Omg loved this place. The service was amazing and accommodating. My family and I enjoyed every minute. The food was delicious as well as the house red wine.
We order Roman Oxtail, Salmon and pasta, linguine with pesto and gnocchi rague, in my opinion delicious and memorable dishes. We also had for dessert Panna Cotta and Tiramisu. You can't go wrong here.

Edit: if I could leave 6 stars I would. We couldn't find a restaurant that would match the quality during our stay in Rome, so we kept returning every evening to La Fraschetta Romanensca and we were never disappointed. We felt we were being treated like family.
If you can visit only one restaurant, make it this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly reccomended pleace close to the Castle of Sain't Angelo. We tried the housewine wich was very tasty. We sit in the cellar. They also have Ancient Roman type of food like chicory salad and lamb intestines' stew.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went in as a group of 10.and we were welcomed very warmly. The staff was awesome and really fun and pleasant. I addito the food was beyond amazing...this was the favorite stop for everyone in our whole travel party. If I come to Rome again ...I'll be back.
