★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lunedi' volevo fare un giro a Verbania, ma alcune local guide mi hanno avvisato che la stazione corrispondente dista dal centro ca 8 km,cosi' ho optato x Stresa, un'altra cittadina in piemonte sul lago maggiore. Dato che la stagione inizia con l'apertura delle adiacenti isolee borromee, la localita' praticamente era deserta. Abbiamo goduto di una pace assoluta, la bellezza del lago l'abbiamo assorbita in pieno. Non so di preciso come sia tutta la localita', perche' la lunghissima passeggiata che fiancheggia il lago mi ha letteralmente incantato. Tutte le strutture erano chiuse, ma mi sembra di aver capito che cmq i barcaioli locali pagando un biglietto, ti portino a fare un giro vicino le isole. Ero li x li x salire sulla funivia x godere della classica vista mozzafiato, ma ho rinunciato perche' il costo di A/R era un po' esorbitante, ben 17 euro. Io consiglio vivamente di visitare Stresa, soprattutto in un periodo tranquillo perche' x me e' da 110 e lode. Ora vi mostro di cosa sto parlando......
 On Monday I wanted to take a tour of Verbania, but some local guides informed me that the corresponding station is about 8 km from the center, so I opted for Stresa, another town in Piedmont on Lake Maggiore. Since the season begins with the opening of the adjacent Borromean islands, the location was practically deserted. We enjoyed absolute peace, we absorbed the beauty of the lake in full. I don't know exactly what the whole town is like, because the long walk that runs alongside the lake has literally enchanted me. All the structures were closed, but I seem to have understood that anyway the local boatmen paying a ticket, will take you for a tour near the islands. I was there x li x get on the cable car x enjoy the classic breathtaking view, but I gave up because the cost of return was a bit exorbitant, well 17 euros. I highly recommend visiting Stresa, especially in a quiet period because it is 110 and praise for me. Now I show you what I'm talking about ......

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stresa è una bellissima località turistica del Lago Maggiore. Fin dalla seconda metà dell'ottocento infatti il suo clima mite, le acque azzurre del Verbano, i suoi giardini, il lungolago, dal quale si osserva il suggestivo e splendido panorama offerto dalle tre isole Borromee (isola Madre,isola Bella, isola dei pescatori) e dalla riva opposta, attraggono un grande numero di visitatori, in tutte le stagioni dell'anno.
Nel tempo sono stati costruiti diversi prestigiosi Hotel che, assieme a dimore storiche, rendono ancora più elegante il lungolago.
Anche il centro abitato è interessante da visitare, la sensazione, per me, è quella di un luogo ideale per una bella vacanza.
Stresa is a beautiful tourist resort on Lake Maggiore. In fact, since the second half of the nineteenth century its mild climate, the blue waters of Verbano, its gardens, the lakeside promenade, from which one can observe the suggestive and splendid panorama offered by the three Borromean islands (Isola Madre, Isola Bella, island of fishermen ) and from the opposite bank, attract a large number of visitors, in all seasons of the year.
Over time, several prestigious hotels have been built which, along with historic houses, make the lakefront even more elegant.
Also the inhabited center is interesting to visit, the feeling, for me, is that of an ideal place for a beautiful vacation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stresa ist wunderschön! Unheimlich elegant und frisch! Sofern man die Hauptstraßen verlässt, trifft man total nette Anwohner, mit denen wir uns mit Händen und Füßen unterhalten haben. Ein Riesenspaß! Hier kann man wunderbare Souvenirs einkaufen: duftende Seifen, hochwertige Öle und Steinpilze in allen Varianten. Verpassen Sie nicht, einige der fantastischen Bäckerein zu plündern.
Stresa is beautiful! Incredibly elegant and fresh! If you leave the main streets, you meet really nice residents with whom we talked hand and foot. Great fun! Here you can buy wonderful souvenirs: fragrant soaps, high-quality oils and all kinds of porcini mushrooms. Don't miss out on looting some of the awesome bakeries.
