★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very affordable, wonderful thing to do. I have absolute phobia of heights and wasn’t sure if I’d be able to do this, but had no issues whatsoever. I wish I would have known about hiking because I would have gone hiking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It takes around 5-10 minutes to go up or down with the funicular. It starts operating from around 6am in the morning. Make sure you sit in front (bottom part) of funicular for great view.

Going towards south (left of the station) there’s the beautiful panoramic view.
Totally worth the price for the view

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Line was so long when we visited and waited for hours to take the train up. The round-trip ticket costs 5,70€.
A tip: take the extra bus for ~2,50€ to the lighthouse. There’s a beautiful view up there.

Also the panorama from inside the funicular is dissapointed...
Not very expensive, but doesnt worth anyway... For what you get....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome. I belive it 100% worth the money. It costs 3.7 euros up.
I suggest taking the funicular up and walk in all the beautiful streets nearby, and than hike back downhill to Como city center.
Amazing view, I had good time here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the cars is wheelchair accessible. Ride and views are amazing. Some areas at the top are accessible, but to make it to more of Brunate requires using the narrow road which is dangerous due to speeding cars. The path to the lighthouse is not accessible.
