โ โ โ โ โ Went there multiple times to ride up to pigra and walk down to ossucio on the greenway der Lago. Although we always were there duing the official business times, the cableway was closed for no obvious reason. No further information was given to the multiple people waiting in front of the building...
So I cannot recommend coming here without checking that its really operating in the time you've planned beforehand by phone.

โ โ โ โ โ The cable car was closed. No information was available online. But we travelled via car anyways to the top. It was beautiful and worth the 30 minute car ride.

โ โ โ โ โ โฌ4ish return trip. Fits about 10/12 people with a little spare room but 8 comfortably. Quick ride up, 8 walks when you reach the top. We did walk 4 and had stunning views of the lake. If you'd like a drink or a bit of food there is a cafe/restaurant at the top of the funivia which looked nice (never went in as we didn't need to) and prices seemed fair.

โ โ โ โ โ Even if youโre not going up for a hike โ the view from the cable car alone is worth the price of a ticket. Gorgeous panoramas and a very charming ride up and down, cannot recommend enough.

โ โ โ โ โ Pigra is a great place to hike, even with smaller children. The path downhill is steep but doable with children above 6 years when they wear good shoes.
The walk in the forest has no increase in altitude and is a nice walk in the shade of the forest.
Cheap and good Cappuccino in many of the small restaurants in Pigra

โ โ โ โ โ Pigra is beautiful little village with a lot of character, with lots of symbols, drawings, photos of cats scattered all around the village. The views are incredible from up there. Only problem is parking at the bottom near the entrance to the cable car. Entrance is fairly cheap - well worth a visit.
