Along the uphill road that leads to the square in front of the Quirinale Palace, set in beautiful red brick walls, you can admire these beautiful Roman statues. Those that I admired best, they seemed very well preserved and kept, I did not understand if they were original of the time or remakes, however they fit well in the road uphill.

Leaving aside the historical side (I mean mainly statues, etc.), I recommend going to this viewpoint at sunset and just watching for a few minutes. In the distance, the dome of the most famous basilica in the world rises impressively, which the sunset literally floods with rays. Just forget for a moment about the hustle and bustle of the city, the crowds of tourists and thoughts of where to go and see and just enjoy the view and keep the memory as a souvenir.

In this beautiful and elegant climb, on the side towards the Quirinal, there are seven large ancient Roman statues, placed inside niches, transferred here in 1866, at the behest of Pius IX, as reported in a Latin inscription commemorating this event : In which it is indicated that under the pontificate of Pius IX, this road was opened, to facilitate access to the hill (also with the demolition of previous buildings). In office the senator of Rome the Marquis F. Cavalletti Rondinini and the architect Count V. Vespigniani. The statues are in good condition
