The price paid was worth for the tour experience.The guide was very informative and friendly we specially covered Duomo, Uffizi and Acedemia. A fascinating tour, made our trip unforgettable. O	Open Door Travelers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As professional travel bloggers, we have taken a lot tours. This group presented us with a new twist on bait & switch that buyers should be aware of. We paid for the Duomo, Entire Complex, Two Hour Tour. for 35Euro each to go to the top of the dome with a tour guide. The tour guide was knowledgeable and we were able to jump the public que with the group. Where the switch comes is that the guided part of the tour is only 1 hour and only costs 20Euro each. The "Entire Complex" tour just uses the same 15Euro ticket that the Duomo sold in the first place. When asked about all of this, the Saliya manager would only apologize for giving us "Last Year's Brochure with tours that are not longer offered," and then told us that we simply didn't understand. It's probably telling us all something that this organization is not registered with TripAdvisor.
T	Terry McGovern on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this group at all costs! As a college professor and US Air Force vet, I have traveled extensively and worked with a range of guides all over the world. Star Florence notified me 5 days prior to my Eiffel Tower summit that they could no longer honor my 1730 booking. They gave me the option of canceling or switching to a 2130 tour. I let them know I was not happy about it, they did not care. So I changed my schedule and agreed to the 2130 booking. I showed at the meeting point, the Eiffel Tower carousel at 2123, 7 minutes early, no guide in sight. I call their emergency line, get a voicemail box. I booked through Chase travel, so I called them. They get the company on the line and tell me to hurry to the meeting point. We do, the guide never shows. I am now standing at the base of the Eiffel Tower waiting in line to buy tickets which has me fuming since I booked with Star Florence months in advance to avoid this. Do yourself a favor, AVOID STAR FLORENCE AT ALL COSTS. Your memories are worth too much to trust to a group like this.

R	R.L. Roofing on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked thru this company in October for our February trip to Paris. It was my wife’s dream to see the Eiffel Tower and thus the entire reason for the trip. This company decided that there were not enough people to do the tour and cancelled at 2am the morning of our 11am tour. They didn’t bother to let us know or help us get even standard passes to see the tower. Our entire trip is now a mute point. When I called and explain our situation to them they were rude and insisting it was my fault and they were well within their rights. I asked if he really thought this was a good way to do business and apparently they are convinced it is. These people are not trust worthy. Poor business ethics at best.

Best choice ever, the guide was great, informative and fun. I ended up booking an Uffizi tour with them after this. A different guide, a guy this time, entertaining and super passionate, made me want to learn more about the art and the history. Great experience, I can only recommend.

They tried to move it to another time many hours later in the day, but we had already scheduled other activities. The part of the tour we actually did (Florence Cathedral) was done by a tour guide from a different company who we were very pleased with. We were told we would receive a refund, but once they were done trying to get us to sign up for the later tour, we have received no confirmation or communication. Just book somewhere else with a more professional tour operator.
