Mi é sempre piaciuta perché ha il suo fascino e merita una capatina sopratutto per le funzioni religiose.
 Small Catholic church located in Mosciano. Then I would not say so small considering we are talking about the house of God.
I always liked it because it has its charm and deserves a special visit especially for religious services.

Lungo il viale che dalla S.S.80 entra a Mosciano S.Angelo (Teramo), m.227 s.l.m., si incontra la Chiesa di S.Giovanni Battista. E’ preceduta da un portichetto sorretto da colonne sfaccettate, sotto il quale, ai lati del portale incorniciato in laterizio, sono due finestrelle quadrate che fanno pensare ad un assetto originario seicentesco. Poggiato alla parete posteriore, un campaniletto a vela sorregge una campana. L’interno è ad aula unica coperta da capriate, listelli e mattoncini a vista.

Along the avenue that from S.S.80 enters Mosciano S.Angelo (Teramo), m.227 s.l.m., meets the Church of S. Giovanni Battista. It is preceded by a small porch supported by faceted columns, under which, at the sides of the brick framed portal, there are two small square windows that suggest an original seventeenth-century structure. Resting on the rear wall, a small bell tower supports a bell. The interior has a single hall covered with trusses, strips and exposed bricks.
