Il fondale basso fino a molta distanza dalla costa conferisce un colore da pietra preziosa a questo tratto di mare Wide beach, many nearby beaches where you can find everything. È stato il primo mare che abbiamo visto in Salento e mi rimarrà sempre nel cuore! Crowded but gorgeous! Crystal clear water maybe a little warm, but it's really worth it! It was the first sea we saw in Salento and it will always remain in my heart!

D'estate é difficile trovare posto libero nelle ore di punta, ma nelle prime ore del mattino o la sera é stupenda. Una delle più belle spiagge del Salento. Lunghissima spiaggia circa 6 km compresa tra due tratti rocciosi su cui svettano le torri di avvistamento la Torre San Tommaso detta Torre Lapillo e Torre Chianca verso Porto Cesareo. Sabbia fine sulla spiaggia e in acqua che rimane bassa e permette camminate a chi non sa nuotare, ogni tanto tratti di roccia calcarea liscia e calpestabile. Nei mesi estivi super affollata anche durante lockdown ad ottobre stupenda come da foto. Been there several times. The water is always clear. In the summer it is difficult to find free space during peak hours, but in the early morning or evening it is wonderful. One of the most beautiful beaches in Salento. Very long beach about 6 km between two rocky stretches on which the watchtowers of Torre San Tommaso, known as Torre Lapillo and Torre Chianca, stand out towards Porto Cesareo. Fine sand on the beach and in the water that remains low and allows walking for those who cannot swim, occasionally stretches of smooth and walkable limestone rock. In the summer months super crowded even during lockdown in October, wonderful as shown in the photos.

We arrived around 10ish in the morning and the beach was pretty crowded. However, we managed to find a spot by the entrance to the free beach. Social distancing was difficult to maintain. The section of beach where we were sat wasn’t clean. The sand had heaps of rubbish that had been left behind, such as cigarette butts, plastic trash etc. This was the penultimate week of July.
