★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Closest sandy beach in Catania?. The beach is long and wide but only 20-30 meter wide is without rubbish. Water is turbid ☹️ To get to the beach you can take a AMT buses ? (6-10 minute route) - “D” line from Borsellinio or “L-EX” (Librinio Express) from Stazione Centrale - both 1.00 euro 90 minutes ticket. Watch out for guys who propose 10 euro al’a Uber trip from Stazione to beach ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Beach itself is very nice, but there is a lot of trash everywhere and no inftrastructure like bars, toilets or anything. It looks like everybody just forget about this place but it could be really great if they take a little care of how its look.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not too busy, nice places to sit with an umbrella. Lot of plastic in the water. No trash cans so the sand isn't too clean either. Water is warm and very salty.

I think it's a perfect beach for children.
