★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was actually next to this place without paying for sunbeds or umbrellas. The beach is nice and water clean unless you close to the port where you can find a lot of rubbish floating in the water or already on the beach. Disgusting how people destroy our environment

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A genuine and great resort for having fun at the beach. Here you will find more italians than tourists playing the local games and having fun. Perfect for families with children or people who want an active beach day. Very helpful and positive staff, and good lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Admittedly I came here on the 27/04/2017 which according to some sites is 3 days away from the main Italian season but I cannot recommend this beach (out of season). As you'll see from the photos it was very dirty with rubbish and empty bottles everywhere and last years construction dumped which has now started to cover with sand.
This may all change in the coming weeks, but I can't recommend it at this point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome, Sexy, well maintained beach in catania. Near to airport(10 mins with car) and city(10 mins from bus).
To reach lido azzurro, take bus# D from Piazza Borsellino bus station in catania. Bus ticket 1 euro per person available on the station from vending machine.
Employees at the reception(Marco and Jimmy) are too polite and helpful. They also helped us to get a cab to the Airport. Highly recommend !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a good lido, but the staff could be nicer (unfortunately). The water is dirty, probably because the vicinity of the harbor. Great view on Etna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and clean beach. The bar and restaurant offer good food options, so no need to bring food along.
The view on Etna is amazing and its very easy to get there either by car or bus.
They also have free showers, which is very much appreciated after being in the sea.
