★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very easy to reach from Catania (line D, tickets for 1 euro). The only thing that bothers me is trash. There are a lot of cigarette butts and plastic wrappers buried in sand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do NOT go here if you are driving. There are local thieves who smash the windows and vandalise almost every car that parks in the area. We were victims of such a crime on a bright Monday midmorning, on a busy road !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice public beach. When we went there was no one here really and it was like have a huge private beach to ourselves. Nice view of etna as well. Bring some shade if you don’t want direct sunlight
