★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst icecream I ever ate in my life. Amarena tasted like water, without any flavor.... really like water. Lemon, just a cheap sorbet and mango , nothing special. Another one "speciality"... you don't see what you buy... everything is covered. I threw it away immediately..... never never never again. Drink cold water... got more flavor. I wish I could give -10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Americano che vive qui, sto scrivendo in inglese per gli altri. Fantastic gelato, excellent base, light, of the highest quality, not as dense and overly done as other joints. The standard basic flavors are here, but where he rises above everyone is in his creative flavors, on the chalkboard. The Crema Chiara is outrageously good, butter caramel with caramelized almonds. I've never had anything as good on the US nor Italy, bravo maestro! If you see the elusive Crema Sicily appear, order it. Crema base with ribbons of almond paste and finely chopped candied orange. Parking is easy in the Porto d'Ascoli location. San Benedetto is more difficult to reach, and frequently very crowded.
