★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love SME! Reasonable prices for electronics, wide array of different departments. However, slightly lacking in furniture selection. Plenty of parking. Fried dough sold outside store at a stand over the last few months.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marco who works at the customer service desk has absolutely terrible customer service skills. We bought an item yesterday, it didn’t work properly, so wanted to return it today (the very next day from buying it). However, he kept on saying that he can’t process the return because the item is used. Yes it is used once, that’s how we knew it didn’t work! How on earth can we know that it doesn’t work without using it?! We had to use it in order to find out whether it works well or not...He kept on saying that because it is used, we cannot return it and that he can’t do anything about it. No apology, no sincerity, no willingness to figure something out and assist the customer at all... all with a nasty attitude.SME proudly says that they have a return policy, and we trusted them. But little did we know that it’s a fake policy to manipulate customers to buy things from them... Irena at the front desk was understanding and agreed with us, but was unable to help us because Marco demanded her not to. We are now stuck with a machine we bought just yesterday, which doesn’t work well....We will never return to this store, we will warn everyone we know about the store’s fake return policy as well as the employees’ terrible customer service skills, and we will hereafter make wiser decisions to buy our necessities elsewhere.
