Ho acquistato 2 borse da Sirni. Qualità altissima e pelle vera. Andrea mi ha personalizzato la tracolla come volevo io senza nessun costo aggiuntivo. La cosa che mi stupisce di questi artigiani italiani e che producono borse di alta qualità dal 1952 in un piccolo laboratorio dietro il negozio. Grazie Andrea e Rita.

On vacation from USA and came looking for a truelly Italian leather piece for my self that would remind me of my trip to Rome for ever. Searched online for a district near where my tour ended of some good leather shops. Checked out a few stores and while the quality was good, none of the other stores leather products stood out as something unique and Superior in build quality compared to what I have seen at home until I felt one of serni's men's wallets. I was at first unaware of the variety he had and even unaware the person I was talking too hand made everything I was looking at like an artist. Later that day after looking him up I realized I was talking to Andrea sirni who owns and makes everything in that store right there by with his sister. I asked if he by any chance had small men's wallets since I only saw female handbags on the shelf. He went in back and had me go in the back to look at a handful of men's wallets. Once I got past the front desk mirror I saw his whole work shop in back and realized this guy is making all of this beautiful stuff by hand. A profession I thought lost and never would truelly see in my life time. Since these shops in the United states are over shadowed by places like Gucci with fake platic manufacturered bags that everyone thinks is the Italian standard back in the States. Shopping here was an experience I will never forget. I was litterally getting to pick out something fully hand made by an artist of that I would get to use practically for a life time. It was clear that he put his own creative design into each thing he made that made it both functionally and visually very unique and pretty. I found one that was very unique and original design that was brilliant in style and functionality. On first touch and smell I knew It was a quality Superior to anything i have been touched in the states. The calf skin leather was softer and more durable to my touch then anything else. The design of the wallet was unique. It was kinda like a trifold wallet but with 3 vertical card pockets that roll up like a deck of cards and snap into a small thin wallet. Then had a coin pocket in front. Designed to roll up as a really small soft and comfy wallet for every day use. the most practical wallet I have run into yet anywhere. My friends with me also jumped onto another one of his croc leather men's wallets and a women's wallet. All beautiful but practical in design too that you realize more and more with use. He put a lot of energy into architecting his designs. Then on check out purchased everything wirelessly with my smart watch via Google pay since I did not like walking around with my wallet in my pocket while in Rome. Just being extra careful as a tourist. Street vendors by the fountains are crazy. Andrea and his sister said they never saw some one check out with just a watch on there wrist. Slightly blew there mind with its convenience. Also had it's own irony in the moment since I was buying wallets too lol. They said something to each other in Italian About technology and we're impressed. I walked out of there super happy. Will be glad to bring back to Massachusetts with me a piece of this legendary artists work and be able to have it in my pocket for the rest of my life which will always remind me of my wonderful vacation to Rome. Been 3 years since I first wrote this review. Leather wallet is barely broken and barely any wear on it at all. No signs of stitching or anything giving or warn at all. None of my past wallets has lasted longer then 3 years. This is about the time they give in. This one looks like it still just came out of his shop. Probably will last for decades. If I ever get to go back to Rome again which I definately want To. This shop will be one I come back to for more. These images are how it looks after 3 years of non stylish male abuse. I have dropped it in a puddle and rained on when lost going camping I do a lot of outdoor activities which darkened the rim around just needs some cleaning and polish. Just age color it's super strong, fancy and functional.
