Passeggiata impagabile! Paesaggio meraviglioso: cascatelle, torrenti, prati e boschi, vegetazione varia e di alta montagna 1.900 m. Consigliata anche a bambini e anziani. Rifugio accogliente, menù stimolante e prezzi accessibili.
Priceless walk! Wonderful landscape: waterfalls, streams, meadows and woods, varied vegetation and 1,900 m high mountains. Also recommended for children and the elderly. Cozy retreat, inspiring menu and affordable prices.

Purtroppo il rifugio è stato deludente...personale scortese e maleducato!! 10 euro per una polenta con 4 pezzi di formaggi, con 10 euro ne fai di polenta.. Nel resto ottima camminata e paesaggio stupendo!!!
Unfortunately the hut was disappointing ... rude and rude staff !! 10 euros for a polenta with 4 pieces of cheese, with 10 euros you make polenta .. In the rest, excellent walk and wonderful landscape !!!

Percorso meraviglioso, adatto a tutti, con poco dislivello fino al rifugio. Cucina davvero ottima, personale cortese e gentile, pronto a venire incontro alle esigenze. Posto da preservare, proviamoci tutti, lasciate a casa maleducazione e rifiuti.
Wonderful route, suitable for everyone, with little elevation gain to the refuge. Really excellent cuisine, courteous and kind staff, ready to meet your needs. Place to preserve, let's all try, leave rudeness and waste at home.

Rifuhio di Val di Fumo, a place in the middle of nature, the view is gorgeous, the photos I put in this post are the ones you see here. To get to the Refuge you have to walk starting from the Lake and where there is the parking it is a round trip walk, after having eaten at the Refuge, you go back. However at the Refuge you eat very well a few dishes but excellent, all good, they are kind at the right price, you can also sleep at the Refuge.

The valley is very beautiful and panoramic. You can reach the refuge and the nearby hut easily, in about an hour and a half, on a dirt road and mostly flat paths. It can be a problem to find a parking space in Malga Bissina when there is a lot of confusion. At the end of October the refuge and the hut were already closed, a shame because there were a lot of people!

Val di Fumo (aka The Valley of Smoke) is one of the most fascinating mountain valleys in Trentino. Known to few and visited mostly by the locals, this is a true hidden gem of the Italian mountains. Val di Fumo is just as impressive as the most iconic mountain destinations of Switzerland with an added bonus of much fewer people. This is an extremely picturesque mountain valley in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park in Northern Italy. It’s part of bigger Daone Valley known for countless waterfalls in summer and ice climbing in winter. Valley of Smoke gets its name because it’s often covered in the clouds, but the clouds can part just as quickly as they came. When I arrived, the whole area was grey and I thought I wouldn’t see much. I started this hike with sweaters and rain jackets… Just half an hour later the clouds were gone and it was warm enough for a t-shirt. The hike was already nice, but blue skies gave color to the landscape and turned it into the most beautiful painting. I find it difficult to describe this magical place as words don’t do it justice. It’s a simple beauty of nature at its best. The 3463m Caro Alto mountain offers a fantastic backdrop to this already impressive scenery. This area is also completely different than the nearby famous Dolomite mountains – it’s less steep and much greener. Val di Fumo looks more like Tirol in Austria or the Berner Oberland region in Switzerland than any other place I know in Italy.
