Accolti da due signore, che con cura gestiscono i servizi bar e ristorazione. Gode di un grande prato, oggi insediato da un grande campeggio, è dei resti di una storica vetreria, funzionante fino al XIX secolo. Ci ritorneremo per una giornata in valle e un sicuro pranzetto. A small cozy refuge, operating only in summer, on the accessible road. Greeted by two ladies, who carefully manage the bar and catering services. It enjoys a large lawn, now established by a large campsite, and remains of a historic glassworks, operating until the 19th century. We will return for a day in the valley and a safe lunch.

Lamentandoci ci sono stati restituiti 5 euro, ammettendo di aver dimenticato il formaggio sul tagliere. Sorry but the prices are out of the norm. A platter of bacon and salami, plus a small dose of pickles and 2 old € 15 sandwiches. Complaining we were returned 5 euros, admitting that we had forgotten the cheese on the cutting board.

Die beiden Wirtinnen bemühen sich um jeden Gast und versorgen ihn mit hausgemachten Pastaspeisen und selbst gebackener Crostata. Wer es liebt, so wie wir, kann zur Pasta frischen Knoblauch haben. Sollten dann aber alle, die in einem Fahrzeug sitzen, machen. Das Rifugio schließt dieses Jahr am 4. Oktober. As has been a very good address in Val Algone for years to stop for a rest on the way to Malga Movlina or back. Le signore sono molto gentili e abbiamo gustato una cena tipica buonissima. Tutto a un prezzo onestissimo. Lo consiglio. A real typical refuge, a bit spartan but welcoming. In a fabulous place. In the middle of the green and in the peace. We stayed overnight. The ladies are very kind and we enjoyed a very good typical dinner. All at a very fair price. I advise.

Mangiato bene ma 68€ per uno spezzatino, un formaggio fuso, un piattino di affettati, un dolce e due caffe, mi sembra un po’ troppo. Place surrounded by greenery and very quiet. Eaten well but € 68 for a stew, a melted cheese, a plate of cold cuts, a dessert and two coffees, it seems a bit too much.

Tutti i piatti che servono, anche se non c'è molta varietà sono eccellenti. I prezzi valgono la pena, almeno per me. Molto attenti al periodo epidemico: niente olio, sale, pepe, aceto e formaggio grana in tavola, vengono loro per evitare che troppe mani vengano a contatto con olio, sale etc.. It is a place that I love very much, the refuge has kept all its characteristics of 30 years ago, even the menu, characteristic of many and very good. All the dishes they serve, even if there isn't much variety are excellent. The prices are worth it, at least for me. Very attentive to the epidemic period: no oil, salt, pepper, vinegar and parmesan cheese on the table, they come to prevent too many hands from coming into contact with oil, salt, etc.

Il menù sarà anche unico, ma tradizionale di montagna, molto gustoso e genuino. Dolci della casa assolutamente ottimi. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è perfetto. Consiglio a tutti/e di andare al Rifugio Ghedina. Very nice and welcoming retreat. The two owners are very good, very kind and very professional. The menu will also be unique, but traditional from the mountains, very tasty and genuine. Absolutely excellent home desserts. The value for money is perfect. I recommend everyone to go to the Ghedina Refuge.

Simple food and wine, beautiful cycling and walking, no ugly ski lifts. Come if you're looking for peace and quiet, stay longer than you planned.
