P	Patrizia Dolo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quando siamo Colere ci piace fermarci in questo ristorante-pizzeria. È sempre una garanzia. Qualità, gusto, ospitalità e tranquillità. Abbiamo alternato menù pizza o cucina tradizionale. Tutto buono. Prezzi onesti. Unica pecca di questa volta è stato il parcheggio. Purtroppo quello adiacente il ristorante era tutto occupato. A malincuore ci siamo spostati in quello pubblico a qualche centinaio di metri dal ristorante. Vi consiglio di prestare moltissima attenzione e munirvi di torce perché il percorso è completamente al buio e su strada di montagna, asfaltata ma percorsa da automobili che non vanno piano. Noi ci siamo stati per cena. Ovviamente di giorno questo problema è ridotto. Diciamo che un po' di paura c'è ???. Reluctantly we moved to the public one a few hundred meters from the restaurant. I advise you to pay a lot of attention and bring torches because the path is completely in the dark and on a mountain road, paved but crossed by cars that do not go slowly. We went there for dinner. Obviously during the day this problem is reduced. Let's say there is a bit of fear ???. Next round we will organize ourselves differently

Il menù offre un'ottima scelta fra primi e secondi della tradizione montanara, con un occhio di riguardo verso le ricette della zona: i casoncelli e il capriolo con polenta sono un must. Le portate sono ben porzionate e sempre ben condite. Il personale è gentile e accogliente, ti fa sentire come a casa. In più, la sera è possibile ordinare anche la pizza. Degno di nota anche il listino dei dolci: tutti ottimi, l'ideale per chiudere alla grande un pasto. Infine bisogna evidenziare anche l'ottima vista dalla sala panoramica, usufruibile anche in inverno. Excellent restaurant (family run) with typical Scalvina cuisine. The place is welcoming and almost intimate. The menu offers an excellent choice between first and second courses of the mountain tradition, with an eye to the recipes of the area: casoncelli and venison with polenta are a must. The courses are well portioned and always well seasoned. The staff is kind and welcoming, makes you feel at home. In addition, in the evening it is also possible to order pizza. Also noteworthy is the list of desserts: all excellent, ideal for a great end to a meal. Finally, we must also highlight the excellent view from the panoramic room, which can also be used in winter.

Hanno molta scelta anche nei secondi, ho visto passare brasati e spezzatino di cervo molto invitanti. Bellissimi dolci. Prezzi nella media. The view is priceless. The stuffed pasta proposals are good even if the casoncelli did not convince me 100%. They have a lot of choice even in the main courses, I saw very inviting braised meats and venison stew. Speciali sono i dolci fatti in casa davvero fantastici e i funghi trifolati con polenta. Tra qualche giorno proveremo anche la pizza. Ottimo posto! Quaint little place, splendid balcony overlooking the valley. The staff is very nice. Special are the really fantastic homemade desserts and the sautéed mushrooms with polenta. In a few days we will also try the pizza. Great place!

I primi sono ottimi anche se credo che i secondi siano il loro punto di forza, poi i dolci e i liquori per chiudere l’esperienza. Insomma per godervelo dovrete andare almeno un paio di volte. A restaurant where you feel at home, the dishes are very good and are the result of a long experience over time. The staff is courteous and qualified. The first are excellent even if I believe that the second are their strong point, then the sweets and liqueurs to close the experience. In short, to enjoy it you will have to go at least a couple of times.
L	Lidia Baguin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an incredible local family restaurant! Honestly, we happened to stop by as we were in Schilpario and our normal spot was closed. I saw this place near by and now I think I found. New favorite spot! Serenella cooks local Bergamasco food, but in a very elevated way. The mom is literally the chef (she seriously deserves recognition!). My husband’s family is originally from this area and we come up to Val de Scalve all the time - this is the best local food I’ve had up in this area. It’s definitely worth a try (and I know what I’m talking about - I’ve lived in Italy for five years so I’ve tried my fair share of mediocre trattorias with good reviews :) ). The casoncelli are arguably the best I’ve ever had and I’ve tried at least 10-20 varieties of them. The meat portion in them is generous, and comes out as the dominant flavour rather than the dough. The bacon is done extra crispy which balances the flavour of the casoncelli incredibly well - hats off! For the main course I had a sausage, grilled cheese and polenta plate. Cheese was phenomenal, from the local cheese producer and polenta complemented it well. The sausage was a bit too salty for me, but this is the local brand of sausage so heads up to those watching their sodium. My husband confirmed this is ‘a thing’ - super salty local sausage. The filetto my husband took was solidly good and the potatoes were delicious. The dessert in the shape of a mushroom is not only instagram worthy but also delicious - semifreddo, tiramisu creme on top and sponge cake sprinkled around the bottom. We will be back here for sure, and next time we are taking a place on the amazing terrace with a view. Thanks for an incredible lunch!
