★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gita fuori porta con la famiglia, tre bimbe e il nostro Border Collie... Passeggiata un po' impegnativa per le ragazze sul sentiero delle espressioni, circa un'oretta fino al rifugio, ottimo pranzo con i loro prodotti tipici e ancora una ventina di minuti di passeggiata per arrivare al belvedere sul lago di Como... di ritorno ci siamo rifermati al rifugio per la merenda... E giù fino alla macchina per il ritorno a Milano... Siamo arrivati a casa cotti ma felici per la bellissima giornata passata in mezzo alla natura... Consigliatissimo!
 Trip out of town with the family, three girls and our Border Collie ... A bit challenging walk for the girls on the path of expressions, about an hour to the refuge, excellent lunch with their typical products and about twenty more minutes walk to get to the viewpoint on Lake Como ... on the way back we stopped at the refuge for a snack ... And down to the car for the return to Milan ... We arrived home cooked but happy for the beautiful day spent in the middle of nature ... Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a nice wild forest. The only available track is extremely steep and cover by loosen small stones. Access is difficult for an adult, impossible for strollers or wheel chair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hike...steep uphill..15km...but we completed the hike with our two kids - 7 and 10 years old. We all enjoyed it. Nice wood carvings on the way, worth a visit. And the panoramic view from top - 1200m - is fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful path through the wood to discover the Val d'Intelvi from above, its magnificent panoramas and all the works in the wood of the artists of Schignano. Follow the signs for Schignano and from there to Il Sentiero delle Espressioni, leave your car in the (very small) parking lot and continue on foot. Possibility of stops in the refuges and spectacular views of Lake of Como.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Google maps led us to the starting point of this route: no signs and a very bad, steep road with loose stones (maybe an old river). Left us and other people (also people with babies and kids) very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beginning of the hiking path that promises good views of lake lugano. Unfortunately, when we went in winter, the path was very poorly maintained and it was very slippery and dangerous to go unprepared with proper equipment. So we couldn't venture farther than the entrance.
