★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kastanienerlebnispfad, Völlan. Schön eingerichteter Wanderweg der insgesamt ungefähr 2 km lang ist. Auf 10 Stationen wird das Thema Edelkastanie erklärt - je nachdem wie intensiv man die Erlebnispunkte auskostet braucht man ungefähr 1,5 - 2 Stunden Zeit. Der Weg ist nicht schwierig zu gehen und ist auch für Kinder geeignet. Schöne Rastplätze laden zum Verweilen ein. Man hat auch schöne Aussichtspunkte auf Völlan. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in Völlan neben der Kirche oder am Sportplatz. Der Weg ist als Rundwanderweg angelegt und man kommt an den Startpunkt zurück.

The topic of sweet chestnuts is explained on 10 stations - depending on how intensively you savor the adventure points, you need about 1.5 - 2 hours. The path is not difficult to walk and is also suitable for children. Beautiful resting places invite you to linger. There are also beautiful viewpoints on Völlan. Parking is available in Völlan next to the church or at the sports field. The path is laid out as a circular hiking trail and you come back to the starting point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Keschtnweg, il Sentiero del castagno in Valle Isarco si snoda lungo i pendii che dall’abbazia di Novacella a Bressanone arrivano fino all'altipiano del Renon, a Castel Roncolo, poco a nord di Bolzano. Si attraversano boschi di latifoglie colorati, distese di prati, ma soprattutto un'unica lunga fascia di castagneti secolari, che in autunno regalano l’ambiente perfetto per il foliage: uno spettacolo per gli occhi.
