★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oberhalb der Ruine Brandis, an der Via Ackpfeif befindet sich die Feste Leunan (Leonburg über Lana). Der bereits bestehende Turm Leunan wurde 1179 zur Leonburg ausgebaut.
Die Leonburg, wurden in ihrer heutigen Gestalt am Ende des 12. bzw. Anfang des 13. Jahrhunderts fertig gestellt.
Die Leonburg, ist ein selten erhaltenes Beispiel einer intakten Burg. Sie gehört bis heute den Grafen zu Brandis, die sich um deren Erhalt bemühen.
Above the Brandis ruins, on the Via Ackpfeif, is the Leunan Fortress (Leonburg via Lana). The existing Leunan tower was expanded into a Leonburg in 1179.
The Leonburg were completed in their present form at the end of the 12th and beginning of the 13th century.
The Leonburg is a rarely preserved example of an intact castle. To this day it belongs to the Counts of Brandis, who strive to preserve it.
