★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da Velate ci dirigiamo verso Poggio o Cascina Zambelli e qui si sale un po' a caso, diciamo che non siamo su un sentiero ufficiale del Parco ma su quelle aperture nei boschi più o meno distrutti e incendiati che portano sempre da qualche parte, zone wild e poco frequentate. Si sbuca sui tornanti che portano non a Sacro Monte (già ben oltre), ma da Irma in su. Non è necessario farsi tutto l'asfalto perché da lì a poco c'è la possibilità di salire sulla vecchia funivia e in circa 200 scalini arrivare in zona Grand Hotel oppure scendere a Passo Pizzelle.
 From Velate we head towards Poggio or Cascina Zambelli and here we go up a bit at random, let's say that we are not on an official path of the Park but on those openings in the more or less destroyed and burned woods that always lead somewhere, wild areas and not very popular. You come out on the hairpin bends that lead not to Sacro Monte (already well beyond), but from Irma upwards. It is not necessary to go all the asphalt because shortly thereafter there is the possibility to get on the old cable car and in about 200 steps to get to the Grand Hotel area or to get off at Passo Pizzelle.
