★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were very pleased to stop at Semiserio restaurant for lunch. The staff was nice, the pasta we ordered were excellent. The inside is beautiful, with a good value for money. We definitely recommend you to stop here!

1. We had no reservation on a friday evening around 9PM. In Italy this is a bit like ??.
They managed to come up with some sort of seating for us outside which was very pleasant and appreciated. The restaurant next door (all fussy and arrogant, would not even consider clients without reservations - getting very tired of this attitude around Italy :) ).
2. English menus (very funny translations though, you are better off checking the pictures of dishes on Google) but the waiter spoke English as well which was a very pleasant surprise for Puglia - so when in doubt he explained the dish.
3. Very fast and professional service. And Great ? food. Really tasty and reasonably priced.
4. Very good variety of Puglian wines (must try them, delicious!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So good that we had dinner here both nights we were in Lecce. Without prompting, our waiter came over and translated the entire menu into English for us. The food was presented beautifully and prepared with joyful excellence. I'd recommend the lemon sorbetto and the vermicelli with prawns, but really everything on this menu is divine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is well situated and has a rather modern look. However the dishes are oversold on the menu. The description is fine but the result very disappointing. Some flavors are mixed but don’t match i.e sword fish and dried grape don’t match in the proposed execution.
So in short the bill isn’t worth the money charged.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent restaurant. Fresh quality ingredients expertly prepared. We let our waiter pick for us ans it was amazing. Shared a vegetarian assortment appetizer and a fish over pasta for our large table. Great service. I could eat here every night
