A top class service, in a friendly cosy non-pretentious ,customer centred environment with an ethical approach to business and his staff. This chef wouldn't have any problems obtaining Michelin star status if he wanted. Maurizio came to Lecce to set up his dream only after learning the tricks of the trade in top hotels and restaurants, run by some of world’s finest chefs in India, Malaysia, London, South Africa and Edinburgh.
The secret ingredient is a dedicated team of 3 serving just 1 sitting of 7 tables a night, the highest level of service and non sense of feeling rushed to free-up your table. However, you do need to book well in advance. Don't think that you can just drop-in here and get a table.
Amazing value for money, a really decent appropriate selection of wines to pair with the tasting menu,which is a must for first time visitors.
The menu is available in English and the guys speak English too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food, we tried the 4 courses tasting menu for lunch and every dish was really top notch. The decoration and ambience were perfect too.
They also kindly provided a highchair and made a very nice pasta dish for our children.
The only minus was the amount of time between dishes. It was too long for our kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Returning to Lecce from a long walk, this was almost the first restaurant I came to, and so glad I decided to eat here. Imaginative cooking and presentation without straying from principles of good Italian cuisine. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extraordinary place, small but delicious portions. In the end you will be full - promised. You can choose between a 4,6,8,10 courses menu and the dishes are incredible. Afterwards the cook came out of the kitchen to say hello. Really great experience.
