Ovunque si vede spazzatura a terra, le sterpaglie delle rotonde e lungo i marciapiedi testimoniano che manca la manutenzione ordinaria delle strade. In molti locali anche se chiedi un caffè ti viene servito in un bicchierino di plastica.
La spiaggia di fronte alla città è lasciata in totale abbandono così come gli edifici fatiscenti che sono fronte mare.
Sicuramente il turista straniero non è invogliato a tornare.
Anche il turista italiano che frequenta le spiagge della Romagna resterà profondamente amareggiato.
Ci tornerò appena il comune di Palermo avrà istituto la raccolta differenziata in città.
Palermo is a city rich in art and history, it hurts you to see the environmental degradation. Everywhere you see rubbish on the ground, the brushwood of the roundabouts and along the sidewalks testify that there is a lack of ordinary road maintenance. In many places, even if you ask for a coffee, it is served in a plastic cup.
The beach in front of the city is left in total abandonment as well as the dilapidated buildings that face the sea.
Surely the foreign tourist is not tempted to return.
Even the Italian tourist who visits the beaches of Romagna will be deeply embittered.
I'll be back as soon as the municipality of Palermo has instituted separate waste collection in the city.
