★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Schatzerhütte befindet sich in traumhafter Lage, von hier aus kann man Bergtouren mit verschiedenen Ansprüchen machen. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern im Alter von 4 und 6 Jahren und einem Hund unterwegs und sind Tourtechnisch voll auf unsere Kosten gekommen. Die unterkünfte auf der Schatzerhütte sind einfach, sehr schön und gepflegt. Die verpflegung ist hervorragend. In der HP ist ein Frühstück sowie abends ein 3-Gänge Menü inbegriffen. Zum Frühstück werden viele Selbstgemache und regionale Produkte serviert. Das abendessen... unbeschreiblich. Das ist so gut das muss man schmecken.
 The Schatzerhütte is in a fantastic location, from here you can do mountain tours with different demands. We were traveling with two children aged 4 and 6 years and a dog and got our money's worth in terms of tour technology. The accommodations at the Schatzerhütte are simple, very nice and well-kept. The food is excellent. The half board includes breakfast and a 3-course menu in the evening. Many homemade and regional products are served for breakfast. The dinner ... indescribable. It's so good you have to taste it.

Neben der tollen Aussicht auf die Aferer Geisler und die umliegenden Almen wird hier großartig gekocht.
Bei guten Wetter Essen im freien und serviert werden Schmankerl auf vorgewärmten Tellern! Ein Genuss für die Sinne.
This mountain hut is something special.
In addition to the great view of the Aferer Geisler and the surrounding alpine pastures, great cooking is done here.
When the weather is good, meals are served outdoors and delicacies are served on preheated plates! A pleasure for the senses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben hier zwei Nächte verbracht. Buchung unkompliziert und kurzfristig möglich. Es war ein wunderschönes Ambiente, eine total hochwertige und saubere Hütte. Großartiges und sehr ausgefallenes Essen. Top Lage in den Bergen mit gigantischem Ausblick. Super nette Gastgeber, stets mit herzlichem Kontakt. Wir kommen wieder!
We stayed here for two nights. Booking uncomplicated and possible at short notice. It was a wonderful ambience, a very high quality and clean hut. Great and very unusual food. Top location in the mountains with a gigantic view. Super nice hosts, always with warm contact. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wunderschöne Hütte in traumhafter Lage auf 2000m Höhe mit fantastischem Panorama; die Zimmer sind modern und komfortabel, das Essen ausgezeichnet und der Service super freundlich und familiär. 25min vom Parkplatz Plose über einen Forstweg bis zur Hütte. Von dort gibts diverse Wanderrouten. Wir kommen immer wieder ;-)
Beautiful hut in a fantastic location at 2000m altitude with a fantastic panorama; the rooms are modern and comfortable, the food is excellent and the service is super friendly and informal. 25 minutes from the Plose car park via a forest path to the hut. From there there are various hiking routes. We'll keep coming back ;-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the 2nd time that I visit this place. First time was with my husband only and this time with our 1yr old baby. The place and view is as beautiful as I remember. The food is great (a bit salty to us this time) and the room is nice. However, I would "not" recommend to family with baby to visit here.
1. The parking space to hut needs 30 mins of walking.
2. They do not provide baby's chair and baby bed/blanket (so we carry all those up)
3. We stayed in panorama room. The view is so nice. However, it does not have curtains. So our baby ends up waking earlier than he used to be. ( I remembered that the huts have curtains. I am not sure anymore)
4. Due to horrible weather. We have very limited activities options with baby and he got bored...
Overall, it is still a very good experience. It just does not fit us. But I can imagine a family with kids that can hike a bit will be a great experience! So one day when our baby is a bit older, we would like to visit again.
