★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cibo e birra top. Ho preso hamburger Guancialini, cottura perfetta ed armonia di sapori che se ci penso ho ancora l'acquolina in bocca! Il team è super gentile e preparato. Davvero bravi ragazzi!
 Top food and beer. I took cheek burgers, perfect cooking and harmony of flavors that if I think about it, my mouth is still watering! The team is super nice and knowledgeable. Really good guys!

Frequento il locale da un anno ed è da sottolineare la produzione di Birra artigianale con ricette originali Scacco Malto che variano ogni stagione per portare una continua novità nel gusto e negli aromi ed un assortimento di birre provenienti da altri birrifici locali a completare un assortimento sobrio anche se è un termine poco adatto in questo contesto...

Very warm and friendly staff.
I have been attending the place for a year and it is to underline the production of craft beer with original Scacco Malto recipes that vary every season to bring a continuous novelty in taste and aromas and an assortment of beers from other local breweries to complete a sober assortment. if that is an unsuitable term in this context ...

They serve also their own handcrafted beer that is good, but not so special.
Btw the food is delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tonight was our first night back at Scaccomalto after the lockdown. It is my favorite brewery in Pisa and it was wonderful to sit outside and enjoy a draft beer and a delicious sandwich. My favorite beer is the funesta, but all of their beers are exceptional and they graciously let you taste what is on tap before you order. The sandwiches are also wonderful. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They will adapt any sandwich to a vegetarian version. Our favorite is the Regina, which my husband takes in its original meat form, and I have with grilled vegetables substituted for the meat. New additions to the menu include French fries, which always go well with beer. Highly recommended!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only three stars because of customer service. This place aims for a local young customer crowd.
You need a working smartphone so you can order from the menu, otherwise you are at the mercy of the staff. I tried to order and my phone was not working, they told me like 4 times use the QR code. Until they realised that it’s not working. After that I got a menu card, which was sort of in Italian.
To be fair, after I received my order, the craft beer was really good. But they should work on their hospitality skills.
