Vicino vi è un bellissimo parco. Sì può raggiungere a piedi da Piazza Solari, via Amarena, via Biga (vi è una salita a gradini mattonata); da Largo Merlo (scalinata verso via Stefanina Moro e creuze in salita); da Pianderlino; da via Donaver. Marian shrine located on the heights of the Genoese district of San Fruttuoso, a destination for pilgrims for 1000 years, very appreciated for celebrations of baptisms, communions and weddings. E una strada molto stretta e in salita con curve molto strette quindi arrivarci in auto per chi non e esperto o per chi ha un auto grossa è un po difficoltoso. In cima poi c e il parcheggio ampio nel parco dei frati... la locanda , anzi due locande, offrono un piccolo ristoro ed una fa anche da trattoria. Merita. Santuario interessante, originario del X secolo ma ristrutturato con forme barocche nel XII secolo, con diverse opere pittoriche di valore. Poco lontano un cimitero ottocentesco semi-abbandonato. A pochi metri dal santuario c'è il "Bosco dei Frati", di proprietà comunale, ricco di diverse essenze mediterranee e di lecci, presenza di alcune cappellette ma nel complesso abbandonato a sè stesso. Purtroppo il Comune di Genova e in particolare l'attuale sindaco Bucci se ne fregano dello stato del verde pubblico per cui il bosco resterà così in eterno. Chiesa in Stile Romanico, nata prima di San Lorenzo (Gotico) ; all'interno, quadri del Cambiaso, del Casoni e in sagrestia, se ricordo bene, dei Van Dick ; trattoria interessante nella piazza e, chiedendo, c'è anche l'altra, nei paraggi, ampio bosco con vari campetti da calcio, e un bosco dove ci si trovano, a volte, funghi e quant'altro.. gita da consigliere, vista meglio di Castelletto.
