★ ★ ★ ★ ★ suggestivo santuario da visitare assolutamente se andate a Zocca. parcheggiate ai piedi della collina nel parcheggio del ristorante, che è comunque comunale e fatevi una passeggiata rilassante tra due fie di alberi, fino a raggiungere il santuario. Per chi non ha voglia di fare la passeggiata, c'è anche un parcheggio molto ampio in prossimità del santuario

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Santuario della Beata Vergine della Verucchia è citato fin dal 1291 con il toponimo "Chiesa di Verucchia", al tempo dipendente dalla Pieve di Missano. Nei secoli ha subito molti restauri e rifacimenti fino all'ultimo, nel 1689, che amplio notevolmente la struttura per ospitare il crescente numero di fedeli che si recavano in pellegrinaggio. La sacralità del luogo è legata ad apparizioni della Madonna avvenute nei secoli XII e XVII ed a miracoli e grazie ivi ottenute da un culto mariano molto diffuso, testimoniato dalla presenza di molti ex voto di notevole pregio artistico.
The Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine della Verucchia has been mentioned since 1291 with the toponym "Chiesa di Verucchia", which at the time was dependent on the Pieve di Missano. Over the centuries it has undergone many restorations and renovations until the last one, in 1689, which considerably expanded the structure to accommodate the growing number of faithful who went on pilgrimage. The sacredness of the place is linked to apparitions of the Madonna which took place in the 12th and 17th centuries and to miracles and graces obtained there by a very widespread Marian cult, testified by the presence of many ex-votos of considerable artistic value.

Dal 1956 e fino a pochi anni fa entrarono a servire il Santuario i Frati Minori (Francescani)
Splendida la vista sulla valle sottostante e sul borgo di Montalbano
