Ovviamente costituito da più spazi liturgici: il tempio vero e proprio la cripta sul fronte e la cappella del Santissimo Crocifisso che ingloba l'affresco miracoloso della crocefissione intorno a cui è sorto il complesso ed un ennesima chiesetta ed altri spazi per varie attività è contorniato su due lati da bei portici e da un bel "disimpegno" sul retro. Ciò che caratterizza il santuario di Boca è la vibrante spiritualità emanata dalle funzioni che si celebrano e la forte capacità di coinvolgimento del fedele che vi partecipa. Le smisurate colonne, gli ampi spazi interni, il contesto vagamente decadente tutt'attorno inducono a credere che i progettisti pensavano "alla grande" ma senza poi trovare i mezzi per portare alle estreme conseguenze simili premesse. Tuttavia non è un'opera del tutto fallita e l'insieme non manca di una sua organicità che merita di essere visitata se di passaggio. Inoltre il silenzio del luogo unita alla mole del santuario inducono a interiori riflessioni sulla nostra personale miseria di fronte agli abissi del tempo e dello spazio.
