★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella chiesa cara ai tradatesi per l'antico Crocifisso che vi si adora soprattutto in occasione dei sacri riti della Settimana Santa. Di proprietà della famiglia Pusterla fin dal 1297, all´inizio del XVI secolo venne affidata alla Congregazione dei Servi di Maria che a fianco edificò un convento. Ancora i Pusterla, nel 1578, finanziarono la completa riedificazione della chiesa.
Nel 1770, per volere delle autorità austriache, il Convento venne soppresso e il Santuario messo in vendita; da allora i tradatesi provvedono al mantenimento della chiesa.
Gli affreschi attualmente visibili sono di Pietro Cortellezzi (Tradate 1898, Milano 1978).
Beautiful church dear to tradatesi for the ancient Crucifix that you adore especially on the occasion of the sacred rites of Holy Week. Owned by the Pusterla family since 1297, at the beginning of the 16th century it was entrusted to the Congregation of the Servants of Mary, who later built a convent. Again the Pusterla family, in 1578, financed the complete rebuilding of the church.
In 1770, at the behest of Austrian authorities, the Convent was suppressed and the Sanctuary put up for sale; since then the tradates provide for the maintenance of the church.
The currently visible frescoes are by Pietro Cortellezzi (Tradate 1898, Milan 1978).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Santuario già esistente nel 1297 presenta una facciata con decorazioni rococò. Deve il duo nome alla presenza all'altare maggiore di un Crocefisso miracoloso. Purtroppo la chiesa era chiusa.
The Sanctuary already existing in 1297 has a facade with Rococo decorations. It owes its name to the presence at the main altar of a miraculous crucifix. Unfortunately the church was closed.
