La sua costruzione dovrebbe risalire al 1819 e la leggenda racconta che in seguito alla demolizione del Convento dei Cappuccini voluta da Napoleone, gli abitanti del luogo si contendessero altare e arredi dell'ex convento per cui si stabilì di caricare le opere su un carro trainato da buoi e di edificare una chiesa nel luogo un cui gli animali si sarebbero fermati. Interno a navata unica con pala all'altare maggiore raffigurante la Madonna Assunta in Cielo, affresco del XVIII secolo proveniente dall'ex Convento dei Cappuccini.
Small church located near the Galmarini Hospital in the Allodola district, which is why it is also known by the inhabitants as the Little Church of the Lark. Its construction should date back to 1819 and legend has it that following the demolition of the Capuchin Convent commissioned by Napoleon, the inhabitants of the place competed for the altar and furnishings of the former convent for which it was decided to load the works on a cart pulled by oxen and to build a church in the place where the animals would stop. Single nave interior with altarpiece on the main altar depicting the Madonna Assunta in Cielo, an 18th century fresco from the former Capuchin Convent.
