M	Mario Genesi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trattasi della chiesa con la migliore acustica di tutta la città di Piacenza conserva l'ossario originale della Santa Eufemia di Calcedonia che nel Medioevo era considerata com- patrona di Piacenza assieme a Santa Giustina e siccome i pellegrini passavano davanti a questa chiesa che era sull'asse della via Romea (attuali via Borghetto via Roma) nelle vie di pellegrinaggio vi compivano visita. Resta il dubbio sul fatto che vi fosse una cripta sotterranea originale anche se esiste un lacerto di mosaico l anteriore al 1000 raffigurante animali mitologico simbolici; al suo interno vi è un convento di frati sopraelevato non al piano terreno ma al piano superiore formato da tante Cellette intercomunicanti l'una all'altra e con inclusa anche una parte più antica, una specie di Cappelletta vicino alla torre campanaria che è un piccolo gioiello nelle Mura cittadine This is the church with the best acoustics in the whole city of Piacenza, it preserves the original ossuary of Santa Eufemia di Calcedonia which in the Middle Ages was considered patron saint of Piacenza together with Santa Giustina and since the pilgrims passed in front of this church which was on the axis of the via Romea (now via Borghetto via Roma) in the pilgrimage routes they visited it. There remains the doubt as to the fact that there was an original underground crypt even if there is a fragment of mosaic before 1000 depicting symbolic mythological animals; inside there is an elevated convent of friars not on the ground floor but on the upper floor made up of many cells intercommunicating with each other and including an older part, a sort of chapel near the bell tower which is a small jewel in the city walls

C'è un altare dedicato a San Giovanni Paolo II con ex voto e cappella a Santa Liberata con reliquie e ex voto per grazie impossibili ricevute. Chiesa bellissima completamente ristrutturata, ricca di storia e molto interessante situata nella Piacenza antica. ???? Open only during religious liturgical celebrations dedicated to St. Euphemia. There is an altar dedicated to St. John Paul II with ex voto and chapel in Santa Liberata with relics and ex voto for impossible graces received. Beautiful church completely renovated, rich in history and very interesting located in the ancient Piacenza. ????
C	CINZIA Scotti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anche questa chiesa, come moltissime altre in città, è il risultato di progressive modifiche architettoniche che la vedono definitiva nel XVIII sec. La bellissima facciata a tre navate è circoscritta da una cancellata. La chiesa è abitualmente chiusa, tranne che negli orari delle funzioni previste. Non troppo lontana dal cuore della città, ci si arriva facilmente a piedi ma anche in auto. Davvero bellissimo, all'interno, il prezioso mosaico raffigurante San Giorgio e il drago. Also this church, like many others in the city, is the result of progressive architectural changes that see it definitive in the eighteenth century. The beautiful three-nave façade is circumscribed by a gate. The church is usually closed, except during the hours of the scheduled functions. Not too far from the heart of the city, it can be reached easily on foot but also by car. Inside, the precious mosaic depicting St. George and the dragon is truly beautiful.
