★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the central square of Piacenza with a nice Gothic building on one side and other buildings mainly from the XIX century on the remaining sides. There is also a fascist building with a tower that could offer a nice view on the city if it were open!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The central square of Piacenza, with the 700-years old city council building ("Palazzo gotico") and the two horse statues that give the name to the square, "Piazza Cavalli". Surrounding building complete what is a well preserved historical place, and the sundial clock -- with its meridian line carved in the square itself, gives it a touch of mystery.
