È prossima al fiume Sentino, in cui ci si può bagnare nelle giornate calde...ed il caldo qui si fa sentire, visto che siamo in una vallata. Prossimo all'abbazia, dalla parte opposta della strada, parte il sentiero per raggiungere Montelago a piedi
 Under renovation. Remarkable place of worship, in line with the important abbeys in the area. It is close to the Sentino river, where you can bathe on hot days ... and the heat is felt here, since we are in a valley. Next to the abbey, on the opposite side of the road, the path starts to reach Montelago on foot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Di ritorno da Fonte Avellana abbiamo visto dalla strada questa abbazia che sembrava davvero bella e ci siamo fermati per dare una occhiata. Come ci aspettavamo era chiusa e non abbiamo trovato nessuna informazione su chi chiamare per una eventuale visita cosi ci siamo dovuti limitare ad osservarla da fuori. Peccato per tutte queste abbazie della zona che sono chiuse...
Returning from Fonte Avellana we saw this abbey from the road that looked really beautiful and we stopped to take a look. As we expected it was closed and we did not find any information on who to call for a possible visit so we had to limit ourselves to observing it from outside. Too bad for all these abbeys in the area that are closed ...

A fascinating 10th century abbey. Even if in part it shows a state of abandonment, it always remains majestic. I was unable to enter, it was closed.
