★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo immerso nella natura, scolge regolarmente la sua funzione religiosa. Nonostante la sua posizione (o proprio grazie ad essa, secondo il folklore locale), la chiesa è ammodernata ed accessibile in qualunque modo in cima al passo.
Una nota di merito all'aria, fresca, tanto che si nota una bella differenza.

Ha anche un percorso pedonale per salire su facendo una passeggiata o dell'esercizio fisico.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lungo la strada ci sono diverse zone Picnik con area giochi per bimbi. Davanti al santuario, sotto una croce gigantesca c'è un punto di osservazione con la mappatura delle cime più alte e le n cannochial potente. Questa area è situata quasi a livelli di campanile.
La chiesa è bella grazie alle sue forme architettoniche. Non è molto addobbata.
Tante persone salgono qui dal paese per camminare.
Along the way there are several Picnik areas with a children's play area. In front of the sanctuary, under a gigantic cross there is an observation point with the mapping of the highest peaks and the n powerful cannochials. This area is located almost at bell tower levels.
The church is beautiful thanks to its architectural forms. It is not very decorated.
Many people come up here from the village to walk.

Siamo nella Riserva Naturale del Monte Salviano a 1000 m sul livello del mare. Una visita al Santuario della Madonna di Pietraqua con una vista stupenda delle vette seminnevate dal Monte Tarino (1955 m) al M. Faito (1455 m). Una sosta da fare se ti trovi ad Avezzano.
An unexpected warm sunny winter day, with a clear sky and the voice of the wind passing through the branches of the trees that ruffles your hair. We are in the Monte Salviano Nature Reserve at 1000 m above sea level. A visit to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Pietraqua with a wonderful view of the semi-snow-capped peaks from Mount Tarino (1955 m) to M. Faito (1455 m). A stop to make if you are in Avezzano.
