Il Parroco è sempre lo stesso...molto affettuoso con i suoi Fedeli.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono sincera: a me non piace proprio, detesto le Chiese di cemento, imponenti, anonime, senza pathos. E poi è enorme: ma perché non costruire una cosa più piccola, raccolta, che susciti vicinanza e non distacco? Dovrebbe essere una chiesa non un cumulo di cemento... Che peccato!
I am sincere: I really do not like it, I detest the Churches of cement, imposing, anonymous, without pathos. And then it's huge: but why not build a smaller, collected thing that arouses closeness and not detachment? It should be a church, not a pile of cement ... What a pity!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quella che da molti è considerata a torto architettura fascista, in realtà è architettura razionalista (che semmai si ispirò in alcuni casi all'architettura sovietica degli anni Venti e Trenta del XX secolo), di cui a Genova si trovano molti esempi. Grande artista del razionalismo nel capoluogo ligure fu Luigi Carlo Daneri, che disegnò questa splendida chiesa moderna collaborando con un'altra grande firma, Pier Luigi Nervi, all'epoca all'inizio della propria brillante carriera. Anche la posizione quasi in cima ad una collina contribuisce a valorizzare l'edificio
What is wrongly considered by many to be fascist architecture is actually rationalist architecture (which, if anything, was inspired in some cases by Soviet architecture of the 1920s and 1930s), of which there are many examples in Genoa. The great artist of rationalism in the Ligurian capital was Luigi Carlo Daneri, who designed this splendid modern church in collaboration with another great firm, Pier Luigi Nervi, at the time at the beginning of his brilliant career.
