★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Церковь Сан-Джованни Евангелиста (Святого Иоанна Богослова). Действующая церковь с 1261г !!!! Настоящее Средневековье! Прекрасно сохранилась. Знаменита тем, что хранит в реликварии часть Истинного Креста. По крайней мере, так когда-то было.
Church of San Giovanni Evangelista (St. John the Evangelist). Operating church since 1261 !!!! Real Middle Ages! Perfectly preserved. She is famous for keeping part of the True Cross in her reliquary. At least it was once so.

Al suo interno si trova la sepoltura dell'inventore della Galeazza, famosa nave da guerra della Serenissima, unitamente a numerose decorazioni pittoriche e ad un importante organo.
Beautiful and evocative, to visit together with the homonymous and adjacent large school.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vale tutti i 10 euro che costa il biglietto. La chiesa è addirittura dell'anno 906 (senza 1 davanti!) Consigliatissima visita. Ogni stanza, affresco o scultura è accompagnata, per chi ha voglia di leggere, da una lunga spiegazione.
It is worth all the 10 euros that the ticket costs. The church is even from the year 906 (without 1 in front!) Highly recommended visit. Each room, fresco or sculpture is accompanied by a long explanation for those who want to read.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic museum and a great church with the same name just across. The church is being restaurated right now. Before you enter the place there is a tiny cafeteria (in front of the “gate”) which offers great drinks and small snacks.
