★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di San Gioacchino a Pontenuovo è una chiesa monumentale di Napoli ubicata in salita Pontenuovo, lateralmente alla Torre di San Michele.
La chiesa, fondata nella seconda metà del Seicento, ospitava le orfane vaganti. L'edificio è stato restaurato e rimaneggiato durante i lavori del 1753 in chiave barocca. La facciata è concentrata sul portale, sormontato da un rilievo settecentesco raffigurante il santo titolare dell'edificio.
La chiesa è abbandonata ed è preda dell'incuria.
 The church of San Gioacchino in Pontenuovo is a monumental church of Naples located uphill Pontenuovo, sideways to the Tower of San Michele.
The church, founded in the second half of the seventeenth century, housed the wandering orphans. The building was restored and remodeled during the works of 1753 in a Baroque style. The facade is concentrated on the portal, surmounted by an eighteenth-century relief depicting the patron saint of the building.
The church is abandoned and is prey to neglect.
