★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This beach is long and unlike some of the other public beaches in Sicily quite clean. We spent our time on the eastern side, close to the impressive fornace penna industrial landmark, which allows for great pictures. No bars on that side, but on the beach side parking there are 2-3 vendors that sell granite, cold coffee, soft drinks, beers etc at low prices

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful Beach with a number of cafes that serve good food and clean bathrooms. Get there before 10:00am in July and August if you want parking near the beach .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful sandy beach, a great place to relax and unwind. Quiet during the week when we were there, but lively at the weekend. Bars, loungers, lifeguard, soft white sand, gentle shelving into the water so great for kids. Plenty of space, so didn't feel crowded, and in the week meant that you could get away from people if you chose to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice beach, great sand, sunbeds and umbrellas available. Been there two times and was always quite windy. The sea is great, shallow water, sandy bottom, just wavy. Beach itself is accessible and big enough to fit many people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely beach with the public area and the paid services by the beach. Can rent umbrellas and sunbeds for a very reasonable price. The beach bar is good too. Highly recommend this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great family beach, even in the winter! Not much open, but a great place for a walk on the beach!
It’s also a filming location for the detective montalbano series. The house itself is in punta secca, but a lot of the episodes take place here.
I can imagine it would be crowded in turn summer… but we loved it in the cool late winter
