Il personale è amichevole e sempre cortese ma diverse cose non hanno funzionato. Si comincia già con le sedie, eccessivamente scomode, il pane che arriva alla fine dei secondi. Poi portate che avevamo chiesto per condividere che arrivano prima dei piatti per mangiarle e senza posate per servirle... Insomma tante piccole cose da migliorare per giustificare un conto che altrimenti sembra solo troppo caro. Fantastic location, excellent and well presented dishes. The bill would be reasonable if it weren't for the service. The staff are friendly and always courteous but several things didn't work out. We already start with the chairs, excessively uncomfortable, the bread that arrives at the end of the seconds. Then courses that we had asked to share that arrive before the plates to eat them and without cutlery to serve them ... In short, many small things to improve to justify a bill that otherwise just seems too expensive.

Difficilmente ho trovato piatti e sapori così particolari, unici. Poche scelte nel menù (come dovrebbe essere sempre a garanzia della freschezza e della qualità dei prodotti ... diffidare sempre dei menù con 15 primi e 15 secondi), ma di livello assoluto. Lo sformato di pesce spada con fonduta di dop ragusano è qualcosa di inimmaginabile ???; dolci top e scelta di vini di livello. Ah dimenticavo, non è affatto vero, come ho letto in qualche recensione, che le porzioni sono scarse, anzi! Prezzi non bassissimi ma in linea con altri della zona che di sicuro non sono a questo livello ... eppoi cenare sulla piazzetta di Sampieri fronte mare già di suo vale il prezzo Found this little restaurant a few meters from the rented house in Sampieri and I must say I was lucky ... very lucky. I have hardly found such special, unique dishes and flavors. Few choices on the menu (as it should always be to guarantee the freshness and quality of the products ... always be wary of menus with 15 first and 15 second courses), but of an absolute level. The swordfish flan with Ragusa DOP fondue is something unimaginable ???; top desserts and a choice of top quality wines. Oh I forgot, it is not true at all, as I have read in some reviews, that the portions are scarce, indeed! Prices are not very low but in line with others in the area that are certainly not at this level ... and then having dinner on the square of Sampieri facing the sea is already worth the price

Si mangia in riva al mare, gustando i veri sapori della splendida Sicilia, ascoltando il suono del mare, e se poi si è fortunati, dalla splendida luce della luna piena, proprio come è successo a me. Uno spettacolo di serata passata con amici, una serata che non dimenticheremo mai. In tutto questo, il Calabistrot è stato il primo protagonista. Ringrazio il meraviglioso proprietario e tutto il suo personale per averci regalato tutte queste emozioni. Complimenti davvero e ARRIVEDERCI alla prossima vacanza a SAMPIERI?? What about this wonderful restaurant. You eat by the sea, enjoying the true flavors of beautiful Sicily, listening to the sound of the sea, and if you are lucky, by the splendid light of the full moon, just like it happened to me. An evening show spent with friends, an evening we will never forget. In all this, the Calabistrot was the first protagonist. I thank the wonderful owner and all his staff for giving us all these emotions. Congratulations indeed and SEE YOU on your next holiday in SAMPIERI??
