★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a good condition 125cc Vespa for the day for 40 euro, no problems, just had to pay 1 euro at the end for doing 6km over the 100km free allowance. Would use again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Salento Rent rents you a scooter, it drives, you bring it back, and that is that. I had an issue regarding reimbursement of a partly cancelled contract, which eventually got solved, further the price is quite expensive, I rented the piaggio with top box, which wasn't in the best shape, but it drove. I found it rather expensive, found the helmets particularly in bad shape (visors very scratched), didn't like that fact that in this heat they oblige you to wear a very uncomfortable sock on your head to protect your predecessors germs from your head or your germs form your successors heads a thing with scratchy velcros that always sits uncomfortably and I haven't ever had to wear when rented a scooter elsewhere. I didn't find the attitude particularly interested in these small concerns I had about the material I received for which I paid quite a lot... but it works.

Took the Kawasaki Versys 650 for two days; went out west one day and east the next. Good bike, drove a dream and much more fun than a car. Beware crazy Italian motorists!
